Any way to contact support?
Main Post:
Hi,
I'm in the process of cancelling my Workspace account as I have no more use for it. And I have some credit in the balance. I'm running in circles with the automated assistant. Is there any way to contact anyone to get that refund?
Thank you.
Top Comment: For some reason I can’t find the webpage but look into “Google customer care portal” or something like that. I’ll see if I can find from a previous Reddit post
Bosch G-sensor driver = official gyroscope support?
Main Post:
Like others, I saw the update for the 'Bosch G-sensor driver' in the MyASUS app under LiveUpdate. Looking up the part number, I found the following from the Bosch website:
"The BMI323 is a general purpose, low-power IMU that combines precise acceleration and angular rate (gyroscopic) measurement with intelligent on-chip motion-triggered interrupt features. The 6-axis IMU comprises a 16-bit triaxial gyroscope, a 16-bit triaxial accelerometer, and a 16-bit digital temperature sensor in a miniature 2.5 x 3.0 x 0.83 mm3 (14-pin) LGA package.
- Angle & position detection
- Motion detection
- Fitness tracking
- Tap recognition"
Hopefully this means that the gyroscope will be 'officially' recognized without having to resort to 3rd-party tools/tricks to get it to work. While the Ally doesn't have touch-sensitive sticks like the Steam Deck, it would be awesome if you could assign the gyro to one of the back buttons for precise aiming (for example).
Top Comment: Does the Bosch G sensor driver in itself provide full gyro support, no. Does it provide a foundation so support can be officially provided by ASUS in the future, yes. There is a 3rd party app/server that provides gyro functionality now (Handheld Companion), but I understand that you want native support. We will all just have to wait for native support to be released by ASUS, but in the mean time HC works quite well.
G series firewalls don't support 7.2 or 7.4 firmware
Main Post:
FYI - I just found out that our newly deployed G series firewall do not support updating to 7.2 firmware. They are stuck on 7.0.
This is brand new device within last 6months. Hard to believe this would happen.
Top Comment: When Fortinet releases a new model, it will be tied to a specific version for a while as that was the version the device was engineered with. After a while the new model gets integrated into the "higher version numbers". Remember, Fortinet generally is running three different code bases at the same time. Check out the difference between "Feature" and "Mature". With Fortinet, high version numbers does not necessarily mean "better", or even "newer".
Does Microsoft offer 'real' support, e.g. - phone call / share screen, and troubleshoot?
Main Post:
The sort of thing a 3rd party consultant would do.
I have limited experience with support tickets - but it seems like they're not really setup for the type of assistance I'm describing.
(We're looking around for support with Synapse, if it matters).
Top Comment: Yes, they do. Offer email, chats, calls and remote. If your problem isn't a simple one, get ready to have fun with their outsourced incompetent garbage support that will run you through cycles of frustration with no results... even when you pay for the "expensive" support package. Hope you have a Microsoft CSA (who actually works for msft) to drag in to the discussion to get things done.
The lack of support for Gen.G in China is way more complicated
Main Post:
While I was watching Tarik's stream during the FNC-Gen.G match today, the chat was filled with debates and arguments about the events of this past week, much like the discussions on this subreddit. The Chinese Valorant community's lack of support for Gen.G, criticisms of Chinese crowds and viewers, and calls to ban future tournaments in China are some of the points I've seen. First and foremost, I want to emphasize my stance: what happened to Gen.G players is inexcusable. However, attributing the situation solely to "Gen.G said something bad about China/Taiwan" is overly simplistic.
Firstly, I don't want to delve too deeply into the China-Korea geopolitical issue. If you're interested, you can research the relationship between China and Korea post-THAAD since 2016. It's unwise to bring geopolitics into any sport, but suggesting that Chinese viewers are upset with Gen.G/Koreans simply because the organization said some things about Taiwan underestimates the depth of the tension between China and South Korea as a whole, which has been brewing for years.
Secondly, in the esports scene, China and South Korea have always been rivals. League of Legends is the most popular game in China, yet Koreans have dominated it for nearly its entire existence. There were years when Chinese teams thrived and won several world championships, but those teams often included Korean imports. The phrase "Five Chinese can't win without Koreans" has become an insane meme in the Chinese esports scene. Faker might be the only Korean esports player with a huge clout in China. The significant influence of LoL on the entire Chinese esports scene has spread this frustration to other games, especially Valorant, which just came out in China last summer.
Thirdly, Gen.G has never been a popular Valorant team in China. The Korean Valorant playstyle is often described as slow and boring by Chinese viewers. It is clean, tactical, and disciplined, which helps them win games, but for viewers seeking a thrilling experience, it's not as exciting as other teams. The Chinese Valorant community loves explosiveness. For example, Woot gained huge popularity after his game against FPX, even though TH singlehandedly eliminated two Chinese teams, potentially three by tomorrow.
Lastly, in this tournament, Gen.G has played against teams like Lev with Aspas, FPX as a home team, and FNC with Boaster, all of whom are crowd favorites. Jinggg, Forsaken, Boaster, Aspas, and Tenz are basically the top 5 most popular international players in China for various reasons. Unfortunately, Gen.G is probably the least popular team alongside FUT and G2 in this tournament. However, FUT has cned, and G2 is generally popular in China because of CS and LoL, so even these two teams have more clout than Gen.G. While we are all here for good Valorant, it's hard to deny, like any other sports, most viewers only want to support certain teams and players.
Again, what happened to Gen.G players is definitely unacceptable, and they are victims of cyberbullying. However, I want to shed some light on Chinese esports viewers. If you follow any esports players who have played in China, most have only positive things to say about their experience playing there. It's sad that some people on this subreddit genuinely believe that future Valorant tournaments should be banned in China.
Top Comment: The silver lining is champs will be in korea so they will get their cheers then.
Bambu PAHT-CF and Support-G
Main Post:
Anyone have any tips for printing PAHT-CF and support-g filament? I did my first print with it yesterday and the supports were very hard to remove, and sticking so well, I can’t get some of the supports off.
Pretty much using the defaults for the filament and support filament.
Currently using a 0.6 nozzle on a high temp plate.

G Hub breaks with new MacOS Ventura- customer support has been less than ideal.
Main Post: G Hub breaks with new MacOS Ventura- customer support has been less than ideal.
Is it just me, or the new TG support is just unbeliavably broken?
Main Post:
Like, this is Sacred Beast kind of cracked support, but T.G. actually had some very good cards already. Before they had like, a LV.4 tuner that could summon, a lot of recursion, a LV12 not hard once per turn summon negate that recycles stuff, cards that gain advantage when popped, a link-3 that summon 3 from everywhere, and good consistency because of the different kind of typing the cards had.
And now they got like, a soul charge speed junker not interruptable by ash, an infernity barrier that recycles itself, more options to pop stuff and steal negates from the opponent, synchro-summoning in the opponent turn to circumvent the xeno-phobic lock of the deck, even more consistency that gives to your hand stuff and doesn' t make you go minus -2 if Ash negates it, an additional normal summon ( probably the most ????? effect).
Like holy fuck, this is support on par with borderline custom-made cards. Do you think that it could reach a kind of rogue status with so many tools at its disposal?

Shows how bad the deck actually was despite already having an extremely broken Link-3
Logitech Support
Main Post:
Been trying to contact an "human" on Logitech Support to claim my warranty for a G305, but after doing everything the bot says, after 10 minutes, they just close my ticket, i had some luck on getting a real person to reply via e-mail, but they just offered 20% discount on any product i wanted in their website (but didnt even received that discount).
Is the Support from Logitech this "bad"? I didn't touched the mice internally so the warranty wouldn't be unusable.
The problem is the scroll, scrolling by itself with a feather touch on the wheel, i got a new one from Amazon so i wouldnt stay without a mice, but wanted to return that one, more because of the price i paid and not stay with a mice that cant be used properly.
Top Comment: You spoke to an agent, but if they offered you a discount code then you were either out of warranty or they were unable to confirm it - opening more tickets after that unfortunately wouldn't change the outcome of that unfortunately.
